Courtney is an enthusiastic litigator who represents both individuals and businesses in real estate matters, employment matters, and complex commercial disputes. She began her law career at a boutique law firm in Eugene where she primarily handled business litigation. Courtney’s recent work has included litigating various direct and derivative claims between the members and managers of an LLC and significant contract disputes.
Courtney earned her law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law. While in law school, she externed for the Honorable Lynn R. Nakamoto at the Oregon Supreme Court. Courtney’s undergraduate degree is from the George Washington University in Washington, DC.
After her undergraduate studies, Courtney served in the United States Marine Corps where she was forward-deployed to Okinawa, Japan. She worked as a public affairs officer who managed a variety of communications responsibilities, including international press conferences and media interviews.
Outside of practicing law, Courtney can be found rock climbing, scuba diving, or spending time with family and friends. She and her partner have one dog named Taizley.
