Travis joined Hershner Hunter in 2007 after several years of successful practice with a prominent Central Washington law firm.  Travis began his career as a litigator , but his practice involved estate and business planning as well as trust and probate administration by the time he left his former firm.  At Hershner Hunter, Travis’ practice will focus primarily on estate and business planning.

In addition to practicing law, Travis has run his own business and taught business law at the college level.  He has also served on the Board of Directors for two nonprofit corporations.  He has published papers on market-based solutions to environmental problems, including a paper on facilitating salmon recovery through a price-based harvest system.

Travis and his wife, Amy, met in Eugene.  In his spare time, Travis enjoys introducing his three children to the world around them.  Travis traveled extensively in the United States, Europe and Southeast Asia as a young adult and hopes to do more of that with his family.
