Pat joined Hershner Hunter in 2006. He is a 1998 graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law, and will practice in the areas of business and commercial litigation. Pat has been a civil litigator since 2000. He is admitted to practice in the state courts of Oregon and Washington, as well as the Federal District of Oregon, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
Pat is active in the Lane County Bar Association, and has served an elected position on the board of directors. He is also a member of the Litigation Section of the Oregon State Bar. Pat is the author of “Recent Developments Regarding Mandatory Arbitration of Statutory Employment Disputes,” 77 Or. L. Rev. 287 (1998), and “Chipping Away at Mandatory Arbitration in Employment Contracts,” Litigation Journal Vol. 18, No. 1 (1999).
Before graduating from the U of O, Pat enjoyed a successful career as a professional chef, first in Santa Cruz, California, and later in Portland, Oregon. In his free time, he enjoys gourmet cooking, playing golf, and most of all, spending time with his daughter Lana.
