Mario joined Hershner Hunter as an attorney in 2007, after clerking with the firm in 2006.  His practice focuses on litigation.  Mario is a member of the Oregon State Bar and is admitted to practice before the United Stated District Court for Oregon.

As a litigator, Mario has handled successfully all aspects of a wide range of matters for clients, including commercial, construction, real property and employment disputes.  Mario has significant experience in creditors’ rights related litigation as well.

While in law school, he was an editor of the Oregon Law Review, served on the Moot Court Board, and worked as a tutor for first-year law students in Legal Research and Writing.  Since graduation, Mario has been invited back to the University of Oregon School of Law to speak on litigation and career topics.

Though Mario and his wife, Holly, are natives of California’s rural Sacramento Valley, they fell in love with the Willamette Valley while Mario was in law school and decided to stay.  Now, they live in downtown Eugene, where they spend most of their free time tending to their urban garden and participating in the many recreational opportunities available there.
